In 2008, Mona Kim and her partners of Program Collective was commissioned to provide a concept for the new and unique urban spa to be housed inside the newly-converted historical landmark, Las Arenas de Barcelona.
The project called for an overall interior design approach, multimedia installations, and sensory experiences which fuse natural elements with state-of-the-art technology, creating an other-worldly experience with its own rules of time and space. Our creative response resulted in a brand experience which redefined the concept of "wellness" and provided upscale offers to this area of Barcelona with its high influx of international visitors.
